MEET OUR PASTOR

Rev. Karen Barth comes to St. Luke's as her third called ministry in the Kentuckiana Association. She joins St. Luke's as designated pastor for the vitality of church life as we come through and beyond this time of pandemic.
In 2012, Pastor Karen was ordained and called as the senior pastor of Empty Vessels Healing Ministry. This was an innovative ministry authorized by the Kentuckiana Association and co-founded by Rev. Barth.
For 9 years this ministry provided opportunities for healing for body, mind and spirit through healing worship services and through Open Hands Wellness Clinic, a clinic staffed by professional volunteers from the healing professions. In 2015, Pastor Karen was called as pastor of Christ Evangelical United Church of Christ in Louisville, KY.
Pastor Karen looks forward to connecting and reconnecting with members, to the possibilities for evangelism and outreach in Jeffersonville and beyond, and to growth in the Spirit as we move forward in Christian community.
